Coaching with KT

Someone to talk it through with.
A next step you can use.

Sometimes it’s a big decision. Sometimes it’s opening an account, making a call, or saying what you need. Starting again can touch every part of your day.

In our one-to-one conversations, we’ll make room for the parts that feel tangled: confidence, work, money, and what you want for yourself. Then we’ll choose something manageable to do next.

Make room for yourself

Say what you want.

We’ll give your hopes, doubts, and priorities some attention. You get to decide what a good life means to you now.

Make sense of the unfamiliar

Ask the question.

We can unpack a money term, think through a decision, or find a resource that explains something in a way that clicks.

Give yourself something to try

Take one next step.

We’ll find an action you can fit into your actual week, and a way to notice what you learn from trying it.

I offer coaching and money education. For investment, tax, or legal advice, I can help you prepare questions to bring to the appropriate qualified professional.

Meet KT

Hi, I’m Katie.
I’ve started over, too.

I’m a former public school teacher and a mother of three. I know what it means to begin again.

I divorced well over a decade ago, and it was an enormous life change. That experience is part of why I care about helping others find their footing and feel more in charge of their own lives.

I’ve been interested in saving and investing since 2000. With a doctorate in history from Duke and years in the classroom, I’m a teacher at heart. I like making unfamiliar ideas easier to understand.

I want to help women, and anyone going through a life change, gain confidence and learn to make their own decisions. Whether you’re just beginning to save and invest or wondering when and how to retire, we’ll start with your questions and work toward choices you understand and feel comfortable making.

A little more confidence. A few more choices.
